Impact is excited to announce a fall break service / adventure trip to what has been described as a world-class city, Santa Barbara, CA. This trip is not for the faint of heart who desire to sit back and sun themselves, as we will be busy non-stop. Work hard, play hard, rest on the airplane seems to be the motto for this excursion. Impact is excited to partner with a couple of local Santa Barbara non-profits ministering, serving, and connecting with the large homeless population in the area. One of our partnerships is with Journey Ministries, a new organization which is under the direction of Jon Bancroft. As for adventures, we will be surfing, night hiking, swimming, cliff jumping (from safe distances of course), biking, and blasting each other with paint balls. We will be residing in cabins at San Marcos Christian Camp, a beautiful church camp in the midst of the majestic Coastal Mountains of California. We will take time around the campfire nightly to foster dialogue and discussion around the blessings and obstacles of life. Come experience a fall break which will impact you as well as others. This Impact edVenture emphasizes adventure, community, leadership and service.
